Happy and meaningful booktalk activity one Valentine's Day!
Two librarians from Manila Tytana College, chief librarian Ms. Marife Madronio Tejero and Jessica Sinag, enjoyed a book affair with Southville Booktalk warriors. Just like the others, they laughed, got inspired, at times persuaded and cried a little one Valentine afternoon during College Library's meaningful "7 Stories, 7 Booktalkers" held at the Mini Theatre of Southville International Schools and Colleges. Books that were talked about were Mortal Engines, Dead Poets Society, Love and Space Dust, The Best of Me, Hunger Games, The Twelfth Angel, and Tuesdays with Morrie. The library activity became possible and successful with the cooperation of the College of Education.
Happy, delighted audience of the day!
Surprising opening ceremonies with a Filipino by heart, a Korean stepped up and finished singing National Anthem from where she was leading the group after a technical glitch caused the audio to cut out during the singing of The National Anthem.
Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Virginia Caneo inspired our Booktalk warriors through her opening remarks and expectedly made each of them enjoy and deliver spontaneously and be bolder in their booktalk presentations.
