Being Library and Information Science student allows me to discover the real world of magic as I turn every page of the books I read. I was totally excited and at the same time felt challenge every time I enter libraries. Internship gives me the opportunity to explore knowledge and practices in librarianship. It makes me realized that neither Boracay nor Palawan Island the hottest spot, but the libraries.
Everyone loves books and I do love books so much, especially the smell of it. When I’m in trouble in my academic days or doing school works, I really gone crazy but I always think that libraries will save me because it’s a place where weapon of powers can find in times of war of ignorance. A library is a place to aspire and where imagination has no limitations.
As I do my internship at Southville International School and Colleges library, I felt fantastic! The Library is super awesome, not just its collection and surrounding but also the librarians, they are super Librarians. They guide us very well by showing us how colorful and meaningful the world of librarianship is. Waking up early in the morning is worth doing, because I know in my heart and in my soul that I will learn lot of new magic in the library everyday.
