An Actress “beautiful inside and out”

She was so gorgeous even at the age of 35. She looks like 20. It was a meet and greet event yesterday with high school students from other schools in Las Pinas and also Psychology students from Southville International School and Colleges. We’re so lucky because Mr. Roderick Ramos gave us the opportunity to meet her. I was inspired by her not just because of her looks but also her personality. She’s totally beautiful inside and out. I can see it in her face that she’s happy and that the smile on her face described how she enjoys her life now.
Ms. Jodi was given the challenge to answer and entertain questions from some students in the event hall. There was one question on how she manages her time being an actress and at the same time being a Psychology student. She’s smiling all the time whenever she answered, “time management”. The topic was on Psychology and depression. One student asked how can she help her friend if suffering from depression. Ms. Jodi admitted that back in 2012, she also experienced depression maybe because she was an actress and couldn’t handle different things but she managed it and she survived. She told us that if we have a friend who has depression, don’t just tell her “kaya mo yan” because she said that depressed people always want to be with them, to be there to support them and guide them and most importantly prayers.
She can be an inspiration to women in the world. If you’re determined to learn and finish school though with a lot of responsibilities, just like her, one will be able to manage studies well. She was awarded, ranked 1 in the dean’s list for the previous semester.
Also, Ms. Jodi was so generous to allow us take photo with her. I also become knowledgeable about being and what it is to be like a psychologist.
We also joined a fun activity, a brain game initiated by the Psychology major students. It was amazing and really fun playing it. Not only that Psychology has helped us enjoy and understand the course and our behavior, I was lucky because I met one of the most popular actresses in the Philippines in person and was able to learn a lot from her.
