Book Corners Project is an initiative of the College Library to bring professional books to departments for easy, fast access and use of students and faculty as well.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To expand and accelerate library reference service through fast and easy retrieval of a selection of books; and,
2. To promote excellent and productive readership by making clients aware of variety of professional book holdings relevant to their courses.
MECHANICS
1. The College Library sends the Department a set of 30 to 50 relevant and useful professional books for display and use accompanied with an INVENTORY LIST. They shall include books:
1.1 published 10 years ago or more;
1.2 that have multiple copies in the College library including Filipiniana titles (non-cultural) and Fiction regardless of publication dates.
2. Head of the Department acknowledges the receipt and accountability of the library materials.
3. The concerned Department shall designate an area with cabinets for display of library books.
4. In-house use and loan procedures are set by the concerned Department.
5. The concerned Department submits monthly statistical report of the daily usage of the books with items namely,

1.2 COMPLETE NAME
1.3 BARCODE
1.4 REMARKS
6. Before the end of the semester a library staff shall visit to physically check books against the INVENTORY LIST.
On Book Losses
If there are unfound books and/or losses:
1. Head of the Department shall be responsible to:
1.1 replace them with the same copy and/or similar content with the latest copyright, or
1.2 pay the actual cost of the book
1.3 plus a charge of 250-peso processing fee per book .
